Lawyer Webinars to Cover Key Practice Milestones starting on April 9, 2015

Brampton lawyer-linguist Suzanne Deliscar will offer three new courses for lawyers this month in partnership with, designed as introductions to key practice milestones.

On April 9 at 1 p.m. EDT, Deliscar’s 60-minute Your First…Will and Powers of Attorney live webcast with presenter Q&A will walk participants through the key issues and checklists of preparing a basic will, continuing power of attorney for property, and power of attorney for personal care.

The course will cover issues relating to the critical questions to ask every estates client, testamentary capacity, preventing conflicts of interest and undue influence, and documenting instructions. It will also provide an annotated basic will and annotated continuing power of attorney for property and power of attorney for personal care.

On April 14 at 1 p.m. EDT, the Your First…Separation Agreement webinar will cover how to successfully draft a comprehensive separation agreement, as well as provide tips for obtaining appropriate disclosure from both your client and the opposing party.

The course will also give a global overview of the types of clauses that comprise a standard separation agreement, as well as provisions for a variety of special circumstances. The program will provide a sample annotated separation agreement and disclosure/key issues checklists. The session will run for 60 minutes, including a presenter Q&A.

And, on April 21 at 1 p.m. EDT, Deliscar will present a 60-minute session entitled Your First…Family Law Four-Way Meeting, which will provide attendees with the steps and best practices to use in order to hold a successful four-way family law meeting.
