Orangeville lawyer-linguist Suzanne Deliscar says a systemic shortage of interpreters in this province’s court system underscores the need for Ontario’s Attorney General to act quickly to begin putting adequate resources in place.

She also notes the government could make court work more attractive for existing interpreters as a way to bolster the current roster of qualified ones.
